braveARTconsulting is excited to announce a new alliance with Ciel Bergman in conjunction with her re-emergence from a 14-year hiatus from the Art world spanning a five-decade career.
Bergman began her career in art in the Bay Area of California in the 1970s at a time when the art world’s all-male greatest were cutting new boundaries. Robert Rauschenberg, Philip Guston, Andy Goldsworthy, Sol LeWitt among them -all seminal movers in a time and era that shaped and influenced modern day contemporary art.
Bergman has something to say about this.
Bergman's return to Santa Fe finds her residing in an expansive 5,000 sq’ live-work warehouse in the SiDi-Siler District of Santa Fe. This week, Bergman has provided braveART unique access to her archives -her life's opus in works on paper, canvas, linen, and glass. Bergman continues to work as a full time visual artist fervently guided by her career in socio-political and environmental causes.
With a brand new, updated website www.cielbergman.com, braveART will coordinate with Bergman in the coming weeks in to begin an epic archival uncovering of her life's work.
